How Casino Getaways Canada gets paid

Reading Casino Getaways Canada is free. The bills are paid by commissions on some links — never by hotels paying for coverage, and never at the expense of a rating.

Casino sites

On our two online casino pages — the best casino sites in Canada and fresh casino sites — the buttons may be affiliate links. When a reader joins a casino through one, that casino's affiliate programme can pay us a fee. Your welcome deal and its terms are exactly the same either way. Next to each group of buttons there is a short reminder of this.

Hotel rooms

Every getaway profile has a See prices & reserve button. When a booking partner covers that hotel, you'll see the words partner link beside the button, and a stay booked through it can earn us a commission while costing you nothing extra. If there's no partner, it simply opens the reservations page the hotel runs itself, and earns us nothing.

What stays out of reach of money

• Ratings and positions. The same five-part method applies to every hotel, and it is published.
• Our words. No hotel or casino pays for a profile, reads it before publication or asks for changes.
• The order of the casino picks, which follows the way people like to play, not the size of a commission.

Keep it a pleasure

Gambling is for adults only — nineteen and over, or eighteen in Québec, Manitoba and Alberta. Set your budget before the first bet, stop when it runs out, and if it stops being fun, the free helplines on our safer-play page answer around the clock.
