Atlantic Canada's casino getaway, in Moncton since 2010, is generous with space: its 126 rooms start at 440 sq ft, and the windows actually open — onto the town or towards the mountain. Add a swimming pool, a concert venue, parking you don't pay for and room for the dog, and the Hopewell Rocks and Magnetic Hill are an easy drive.

The essentials
The short version
If you're gambling in Atlantic Canada and want a proper hotel attached, this is it. Opened in Moncton in 2010, Casino New Brunswick combines casino, hotel and entertainment centre in one building, and Great Canadian Entertainment runs it.
Which room to book
Space is the strong point. Space is the luxury here: across 126 rooms and suites, the most basic Deluxe King already gives you 440 sq ft, and a Deluxe Two Queen 490. Ceilings are high, the windows open, showers are walk-in, the sheets 300-thread-count, and outside is either the town or the mountain. For more room, a Studio Suite offers 590 sq ft and a Luxury Suite 795, while up on the fifth floor the Marquis Suite has a private balcony and a second bathroom.
Whoever books and checks in must be 19 or older; children can stay but are kept out of 19+ areas. Arrival from 4 pm, departure by 11 am — and don't count on room service, which isn't offered for now.
At the tables
At the tables you can play blackjack, baccarat, I Luv Suits, craps or roulette. Poker moves to a private room called "the Lighthouse" on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings. New slot games arrived twice recently — in December 2025 and in March 2026. Joining the Rewards Club costs nothing and knocks a little off buffet and gift-shop prices.
Eating in, and showtime
The choice is short. The Buffet serves Wednesday to Saturday — Thursday is Ribs & Wings night, Friday is AA Prime Rib — and Rewards members save a few dollars. The other choice is the Hub City Pub, right by the slots. You'll need to be 19 for either. For live music, the on-site Molson Canadian Centre hosts the concerts.
Downtime and pets
Both the pool and the gym require supervision for kids under 12. Travelling with animals? Two cats or dogs are allowed per room, maximum 50 lbs apiece, at $40 a night — though they can't come into the restaurants, gym or pool. Parking is free; the front desk will take down your car's plate, make and model when you arrive.
Getting out
Turn it into a road trip. The hotel points guests to the Capitol Theatre, TreeGO, Tidal Bore Park, and the zoo up at Magnetic Hill, and the Hopewell Rocks on the Bay of Fundy make a fine day's excursion.
The getaway verdict
Roomy, pet-friendly and with a pool — a reliable overnight on a Maritime drive. Do plan at least one dinner in Moncton itself — the on-site choice is limited.
